First there were just the songs. Afterwards a record deal. But there was no band.
The LP with no name is Cyrill Lim's debut release as a songwriter and arranger. After signing a contract with erdkugel recordings, a Berlin based indie label, he put together a group of musicians with whom he recorded in studios, basements, living rooms and mountain cabins throughout Switzerland, Germany and Serbia.
The outcome: a record as varied as the musicians who played along and as the regions it was recorded in. Melodious vocals richly accompanied by the piano, drums, strings and brass, alternate with delicately arranged and frail songs. All held together by stories of longings, love, loneliness and life.

Not a CD, but a vinyl: other than in most music productions nowadays the whole recording, mixing and mastering process has been designed for creating a vinyl from the outset. The two sides of the vinyl divided the album into a summer and a winter side. The outer sleeves of the cover are all manually letterpressed to make each one of them a unique copy.
